The Consul is our beautiful middle sized hand crafted chess set with a board made from beech and birch wood. The felt bottom pieces are made from hornbeam and sycamore wood and are weighted.

They are made in Poland using plantation grown wood and no child labour.

The King is 3.54"(9cm) tall. The Queen is  3.11"(7.9cm), and the Pawn is 1.77"(4.5cm).  The beautiful folding board measures 18.58"W x 18.58"D x2.36"H(47cmx47cmx6cm). With squares measuring 1.85"x1.85" (4.7cmx4.7cm). Each piece can be stored securely inside the board in its own compartment.
