The brontosaurus is a giant. Its long, narrow neck with a relatively small head and whip-like tail are probably the most striking features. The prehistoric giant can be up to 22 meters long and weighs 15 tons.
Its impressive size is emphasized by the yellowish-brown patterned lizard skin.
The stately brontosaurus is usually travelling at a leisurely pace. This is not surprising, because with its long neck and massive body, the giant dinosaur is not exactly manoeuvrable.
And it doesn't have to be, because the peaceful prehistoric giant is in no hurry. As a vegetarian, it only eats plants. It doesn't need to go hunting and is happy if you let it pluck leaves from the branches.
